KNOWN ISSUES

As issues with TSCAD For Run 8 are found - either through ongoing internal testing or through customer feedback - they will be posted here so everyone is aware of them and can follow progress being made on fixing them.


MISSING MILEPOSTS IN FLORIDA

It was reported to me that there appears to be track data missing from the CSX Florida/Georgia routes. This is prevent track and time and track tags from working properly.

CURRENT STATUS

This issue is still pending as of May 2020. Researching to see why the data is missing and get it added back in. Updates to those lines will be provided once the data has been added back in.


CAJON SUB “BLANK SCREEN” - FIXED in v2.0.7

Some customers have reported that, when opening up the Cajon Sub dispatcher display, the display is completely blank (black). This is a sporadic issue only affecting a handful of customers. The issue is being investigated and, in the meantime, some possible workarounds have been suggested by users.

Possible WORKAROUNDS

  • Disable Windows Defender when starting TSCAD and then open the Cajon Sub display. If the display is now visible, you can re-enable Windows Defender and the route should work. This workaround worked for one user.

  • Install TSCAD to the default (recommended) directory on your PC if you are not already doing that. This reportedly fixed the issue for another user.

CURRENT STATUS

This issue was resolved in v2.0.7 of TSCAD, released in May 2020.


CANNOT ALIGN ROUTES OFF SCREEN TO UNPURCHASED ROUTES - FIXED IN V2.0.7

If you attempt to align a route off the display to another route that you have not purchased, TSCAD will say that no route could be found and the route will not be aligned.

This issue was resolved in v2.0.7 of TSCAD, released in May 2020.
